Tresorit is an end-to-end encrypted cloud storage and collaboration provider founded in 2011 by Istvan Lam, Szilveszter Szebeni and Gyorgy Szilagyi. The company is headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland with additional offices in Munich and Budapest, and administrative headquarters in Luxembourg. Its platform uses zero-knowledge AES-256 encryption across desktop, mobile and web clients, targeting regulated industries and businesses with strict data-protection requirements. In July 2021 Tresorit was acquired by Swiss Post, which took a majority stake to expand secure cloud services across German-speaking markets.
